If you have the time --her whole blog is awesome. SHe does felted stone buttons and crochet work over stones. I plan to play aruond with these ideas later on and crochet over some big rocks for door stops. GODS!! ANOTHER project :P

They are beautiful in drinks. Using them with punches and drinks has been the only way I have seen them used. I dont know why i never made the connecetion between them and outdoor beauty
Oh, I am so hot to try this,......I mean when it is really freezing here I will do this it is so cute. As it melts down the birds would love it. Maybe by Christmas. It is suppose to be real cold this winter.

This looks like fun! But I will have to wait at least another month before something like this would be feasible here for more than a day or two. Right now it is 50 degrees outside!
those are beautiful! it just so happens that alaska is the perfect place for ice art *wink* my neighbor makes outdoor candle holders of ice. she uses a large bucket or any other container that holds water. they are really very simple yet so lovely with a candle in them. with our short winter days she does go thru alot of candles lol. peace connie in alaska
