This week I've been getting the water hot on the wood stove, and cooking up my coffee in the french press (fresh ground beans). I love doing it just one, hot cup at a time. I switch to decaf or cocoa in the afternoon so I'm not up all night. I know some folks sleep right after having a cuppa, I'm just not one of them. I also really like tea, loose tea brewed for awhile and run through a strainer. My favorites are dark or spicy. Assam, Darjeeling and peppermint (the real stuff) are what I go for. Then there's a nice hot cup of cider, but that's a different story altogether. P~

ooh all this coffee and tea makings sounds wonderful. I would love to grind my own coffee if only to smell it going. Yes, I am the crazy lady at the grocery store over your shoulder sniffing while you are grinding your coffee beans. Mine is 2 creamer, 2 sugars. Hubby cheats and uses french vanilla creamer as he says he cant stand the taste of coffee. Im not a big tea drinker, but I love souther sweet tea in the summer. This is a neat subject! Love hearing everyones coffee/tea habits. :) HUGS

Occasionally I really like a good cup of Joe-and I mean a good cup. Nothing worse than bad coffee! With that said, I usually drink tea-absolutely love Earl Grey.

Coffee all day long - preferably Mocha Java when I can afford it. Cream, no sugar. I switch to tea in the afternoon - Stash looseleaf peach black tea or Earl Grey. I do like a good cup of Chai when it's snowy and cold out. |
