I am at work till 5pm. Then eat dinner with the family. Do laundry, look into cookie lee jewelry business, clean up the bedroom, wrap some christmas presents, stamp christmas cards, figure a present for a girl friend getting married, and watch a movie born into brothels.

Look for a new job! We just had an unexpected meeting this morning. My company is doing great financially, but we're still going to have big layoffs anyway. I'm pretty low in seniority here, so I guess my brief period of financial stability is going to end soon :(

I had to take our puppy Bear to the vet to have his stitches removed after his neutering. Now I'm cleaning because it's raining buckets and I don't want to be outside!

i've been tying up loose ends regarding thanksgiving.....verifying airline flights, menues, (my son just told me not to forget to make the lemon squares in addition to all the other deserts!) then tonight i have my book club meeting...we read peoney in love, by lisa see. it was about a girl in china years ago when they had their feet bound and weren't allowed to venture into the outside world and had arranged marriages. glad it wasn't me! anyway, that's about it. i hope things go okay for the many of you who are working and where it seems a little unstable with lay-offs, etc. i wish things would at least appear to be getting better. i think this is going to be a tough holiday season. just remember, if anyone gets a little down-in-the-dumps, post something here....it seems that the farmgirls are really good at lifting spirits.

Sorry to hear about the lay-offs too.. Maybe there is need for Christmas help . I know the economy outlook is not good right now . I will keep positive thoughts out there for you Amie, and others.
I agree If there are down mood times... Farmgirl sisters are here....

Well the pumpkin bread is cooling, the chicken stew is inthe crock pot, I managed to wash two windows so I could see the deer clearly on the hillside * I know it needed done just because but I justified my doing it..so My hubby would transplant some indoor plants to bigger pots.. Didn't get to the sewingroom but did glance through Mj magazine while waiting for bread to get done... I love this issue. I have a batch of beef jerky to put in the oven as soonas it cools down...so will sit here and read posts til then..
