anyone every go to or hostess a 'pie party'? i've been reading some wonderful janice holt giles novels about pioneer times in kentucky .. and they often held 'pie parties' .. everyone would bring a pie .. and people would 'bid' on them .. and get to sit and eat it with the person who baked it. it would also be fun to do a 'pie swap' invite some friends bring homemade pies .. one to swap and one to share!

have some hot cider or chocolate, tea and coffee and enjoy a cold wintery day with friends and pie!
