I am Terri, mom to 6yr old, and wife for 17 years. I have always been a farmgirl. We live in Northern California. I look forward to the day we own our own land, and have chickens and cows (or goats) running around........someday.
Hubby is a carpenter and in his spare time likes to build children's wooden toys. I have just found my new calling.....soap making! I am addicted. Now I have to figure out what to do with all the soap.....LOL (good thing Christmas is coming up!) I am also room mom for my daughter class.
I am new to this as of two days ago! We used to live (for nine years) in Santa Cruz (I had three of my children there). Soapmaking--fun! Do you make it with vegetable oils or with lard? I have done both. The lard one is definitely richer. I have a lemon verbena plant (I think it will grow year round for you outdoors) and used that to add fragrance. Mmmmmm! Let me know the kinds you are making.
