I woke up this morning and my feet were chilly the instant they hit the floor. Outside the leaves have fallen from the tree and my garden is bedded down for winter. The school buses rumble by and I can faintly hear the class bell if I am outside. So this makes me think of hot breakfasts to keep you going through the morning.
Last winter I went with a farmgirl friend up to a rustic hotsprings retreat and I took along MJ's Outrageous Outback Oatmeal. It was sooo good! Nora who wasn't quite a year old wouldn't stop eating it! It is full of good things like currants and sunflower seeds! It is slightly sweetened and it kept us full as we soaked and swam in the warm water an braved the snow and cold!
If you need a quick breakfast now that cold weather has arrived, you might want to order some! And if you don't like sweet Oatmeal- try the Hot and Creamy Oatmeal! It is has Flax seeds in it and we all know how great flax is for you! http://shopping.maryjanesfarm.org/s.nl/sc.2/category.39/.f
I have tried all of MJs Hot Cereals and they are great!!! It sure the season for "HOT" cereals... With frozen fruit from summer, local honey and Sucanat of Erythritol... Tis great!!!
I love oatmeal, but summer has returned to IL. It was a record high of 78 today! We are going to be in the 70's for the next several days, so the oatmeal will just have to wait for fall to come back.
