Is this the right place for this?
I was just wondering if there is a chapter near me somewhere? I'm right outside Chatt. Tn. north.
Also how many Ga. girls are there on this forum now. I noticed someone did a Wash. count. I'd love to see how many Ga. girls are here, too.

Kelly Wall is in Chattanooga. We just went to Miss Wilma's together in early October!

Kristen, I have a Chapter in Chattanooga, and actually have a MEMBER! Yes thats right a MEMBER! I can let ya know when our first meeting will be, your not to far from me!

I'd LOVE to come to your first meeting. I have a friend who is thinking about joining this forum and she'd probably want to come, too, if that's ok.

Dana, where is Lilburn? And I saw that ya'll went to Miss Wilma's and I was just a little bit jealous. Kentucky isn't that far from here, ya know. So next time I'm gonna invite myself to go with ya'll! Sounds like ya'll had too much fun there.

Kristin, I'm in metro Atlanta towards Lawrenceville. So I guess that's the north east side of the city. I'm a 2 hour drive to Chattanooga. Miss Wilma's was so much fun! And to take a road trip with Kelly and our daughters was fabulous! You will have to make the trip next time!

How fun is this? Just jump right in here! I hope I didn't sound too awful eager. It did sound like too much fun ya'll had, though. So I am so looking forward to meeting ya'll now.

Miss Wilma said it right, you kind of have to just jump in, no invitation needed! Thats what I did. I have been away from this for a little bit, and am still putting together a meeting for my Chapter, It may just be coffee one morning or something just so we can meet. We did have a great time at Miss Wilma's and you must carpool with us this spring! I'm going for sure, even though this is the first I've heard of it. Can't Wait!!!!

How fun this sounds!!! I'm up in NE Alabama, I'm about 1 1/2 hours from Atlanta and about 2 hours from Chatt where I am. One day I'm hoping to meet some other farmgirls!!

Me, too. I almost met Kay from Vancouver, Wash. when I was there in Oct. but was with family I hadn't seen in almost 10 years. so not enuf time there. And I can't wait to meet Kelly in Chatt. And also all the Kentucky girls in the spring! And some of the Ga. girls, too.
I will be in Col. Springs for a family reunion July 4th week and I would LOVE to sneak off to the BBB but doubt I'd be able to. I'll be pretty close, though! My cousin lives in Id. not too far from the "farm". I keep saying I'm going to go stay with her and go see MJF one day.
Maybe we can get together some time.

Kelly, just say when. I'm going to an open house for Tangerina over off Germantown Rd. Sunday. So I'm over in Tn. quite a lot, at least once a week anymore. Would love to get together after Christmas.

Hey Kelly, it is too cold to be out now. It's plum freezing here. At least the sun was shining ALL day!! I was liking that. Especially after yesterday. So I hope you stay in and get better.
Tangerinas is a couple of women that do all kinds of neat stuff with old windows, like tables and picture frames, and they use old cabinet doors for all kinds of pretty wall hangings. They are very creative. They do lots of little girl paintings with raised kids using old hinges and all kinds of hardware. I had gotten them to make something for a housewarming gift and just picked it up at their open house today. They also make the cutest Christmas decorations, too.
