Terri, you're a sweet sister to be so sensitive and want better good for the group.
I see human nature on this forum--up's and down's included. There are 6,600 farmgirls (last count maybe?) on here and with that many women in one spot, there's going to be some issues. I do understand your feelings and don't like conflict or lack of follow-through myself, but it's just the nature of a large group of women with different backgrounds, different goals, and different situations trying to find some common ground so they can connect--it sometimes has a hiccup or two.
An online forum is usually pretty "disposable", as in you can delete that world from your life with a click of the mouse if you don't like it, but this is a very nice place and hopefully the friendships that have formed outweigh the "hiccups" and get resolved through the friendships. That is my hope.
