Working on a quilt but I'm doing mine in rows so it will have holes. Guess it won't be as cozy warm as yours Linda. Curtains are a great idea Jess.

Thats a cute idea, Julie. I will have to keep that in mind. That had to have been a ton of yo yos to do a garland for the whole tree!

I used a variety of sizes of yoyos. My tree sits in a corner so I really only decorate the front half of the tree. I have been adding to the garland for two years.

When I was in a yo-yo swap, I made a vest from them....had to make a few extra because I didn't
have enough from the swap, but its very special to me and I think often and fondly of all the ladies
who shared yo yo's with me.

Was it in Mary Janes stitching book that I saw yoyos sewed around a padded hanger? I just found yoyo's that my sweet grandmother taught me to make when I was a little girl. The best part is that they are made with bits and pieces of fabric from her house dress fabric so I could see pictures of my grandma in her cute little floral dresses in my mind when I opened the bag. Maybe I'll stitch them together for a pillow cover or even for a matt around a photo of my grandmother in a frame. Any other ideas for a small amount of yoyo's. I saw a cute tic tac toe pattern on a website once while looking for bloomer patterns. I think the site was called Modest Handmaidens.

Do you have the new Mary Jane's Mag? It has some really cute yoyo projects. I just picked up my new magazine at Tractor Supply yesterday. I have never been interested in yoyos before but I think I might whip out a few to make a few of the cute projects.
