Can anyone help me with ideas? I'm looking for a sewing pattern for a winter coat (wool and warm) that is similar in style to those cool Filson ones--or even vaguely like them--or just something nice. . .can you tell I'm getting a bit frustrated looking for men's coat patterns? Basically a men's wool zip-up warm coat . .
I would maybe check for patterns on ebay or check out the website, www.sewingpatterns.com. They have many different pattern companies, American and others. You may find something there. Men's patterns are TERRIBLE to find!
Yeah! I ended up finding a pattern that I didn't LOVE, but it was all I could find that was somewhat what I wanted. Now, it's done in time for Christmas, not even last minute!! I didn't finish the sleeves, want to get that just right, I'll wait till he opens it for that. Here it is!
