I tried to do a look-up (search) on this forum and I even searched elsewhere. I could've sworn I saw a website listed for a good website for buying seeds. I found one that looks good but I'd like to hear from the farmgirls what they suggest. I'm collecting seeds and want to hold onto them (so I need them to be able to store well).
your welcome..hey Brooke..come on and join us gals over on the "Keeping in Touch" thread..the "Heirloom Mavens" we have been chatting it up lately about saving heirloom seeds/planting an heirloom garden..etc..you are welcome anytime to join in and have fun chatting about gardening/saving seeds.
Tina, thanks so much for the seed company info. I was familiar with seed savers, but not the others! I am going to try my hand at an heirloom garden next spring!
Tina, thanks too for the seed company information. I am also looking for seeds to grow through the winter for next years garden. I have ordered from Thompson's, but they don't have many unique seeds and I wrote down the names of a bunch of flowers I saw at the Chicago Botanic Garden that I want to try to grow.
Please visit the Mavens's hen house and see our seed company list =) it's about half way down the page. I hope that it helps. We are trying to grow only heirlooms.
