I'm a gown girl. But not flannel! I have flannel sheets on the bed, and if I wear a flannel gown, I stick like a cutout to a felt board! |

Used to be a gown girl, but now I really love wearing pj's! Started when I went to visit my daughter who lived in an apt in a college dorm where she was working and she reminded me to keep track of my coat and shoes at night cause you just never know when you are in a college dorm! I liked them so much I completely switched!! I love to come home from work and put them on right away. |

I like stretchy yoga pants and a comfy shirt for sleeping. I like long sleeved T-Shirts for winter. I like gowns for summer, but in the winter I like to have the fabric closer to my skin.
I also often wear wool socks to bed. We have a feather mattress and MaryJane's Grange collection Comforter which is super warm! We like to have flannel sheet on the bed, but ours wore out so we are on the hunt for some reasonably prices good quality ones.

Heather-LOL! I'm the same way but of course if it's REAL cold I'll go 'winter nekkid' which means I put on a pair of socks cause my feet always get so cold.

You all are so funny. I have both, but more flannel gowns than pj's. Doesn't really matter to me. I have cotton gowns that I wear in the summer. I also wear socks-year round. In the winter, I always wear a turtleneck under my sweaters and I leave it on at night and just throw the gown over top. I can't stand my neck getting cold. I have flannel sheets, a heavy down comforter and dh creates a lot of heat when he's sleeping, but has a fan blowing all year which really chills me!

When I was in the US Navy, we always had to sleep with jammies of some sort, with our raincoats on the end of the bed. That way, in case of a fire or fire drill we were able to be fully clothed. It was rather embarrassing for some of the ladies that chose to sleep "neked" even in the warmer times. They didn't have much on during a fire drill!!!!!!! LOL

Flannel pj's no socks. I don't like socks in bed, lol. Silly me prefers cold feet! I know I am silly, lol.
In summer I prefer a short gown or a shortama, meaning shorts and a top

Flannel PJs and flannel sheets . . . nice and toasty, though you kind of become a human flannel-graph and may have to be literally peeled out of bed! LOL!

Flannel nightgown!! My BFF in Calif sent me a new navy pindot one that is just perfect for my birthday last week. I adore it!!! And flannel sheets and socks too. If I get REALLY cold I just add pj bottoms..the look is funky but it works. I rarely get THAT cold.

Good grief! You all are giving me night sweats just thinking of all that flannel! I am a warm sleeper, by that DH would tell you that I'm like sleeping next to a stove. It's shorts and a tank top for me on regular sheets, no flannel. On those really cold nights I have an electric blanket that I turn on to heat the sheets and then turn off when I crawl in. Topped off with a quilt. If it's below zero I have a pair of cotton PJ's that I'll put on the bottoms only. We also like to keep our bedroom in the upper 50's at night or else I get too hot. Told you I was a warm sleeper!

Flannel long bottoms and a "beater" tank top or t-shirt. Socks. Soft ski cap if it's really cold; I have super short hair and lose a lot of heat through my scalp. In the summer, just a beater tank and underwear.

Audrey- My husband is like you. In the summer, he can get so hot that I have the change the sheets every day. I am always surprised that he doesn't die of dehydration each night- even with the air conditioner going.

Audrey, I'm with you! I'm known as the "human furnace" in my family! I sleep in a cotton batiste gown year round and on top of covers in the summer and maybe my feet under the comforter in winter. My house is cold all year long so each bed in the house has a down comforter so I don't have to hear the complaining! I've been a "hot" woman all my life, so this lovely time of my life at 51 seems no different! Of course, living in Atlanta doesn't help the comfort level! But then, that's what air conditioning is for, right? : )

I usually wear sweats and a long sleeve shirt, but when it gets cold I will put on socks and another shirt and bury myself under the comforter next to my husband because he is the warm one!! I usually let him go to bed first in the winter so the bed is warmer when I get in!

Always PJs!! I get tangled up in gowns. There is a story behind that... one that ends with me on the floor after wrestling w/a gown one evening. The gown won...it was not a pretty sight! ha! From then on.. it has been been PJs. My favorites are Leopard! ME-OW! ~Kelly

Flannel nightgown in the winter. Socks, too. LOL! If it's cold enough, I'll sleep in sweats. Cotton gown in the summer.
