Lets see here I will start with my name which is Theresa. I have been married to my high school sweetheart Joe for a little over 8 years now. We have 4 children thus far. DS is 7, DD is 6, DD is 3 almost 4, and DS is 1. We live in the city for now but dream of living out in the country where I grew up. We are a christian homeschooling family. I also make my own cloth diapers for my youngest. In my spare time, what little there is,I am trying to learn how to: Quilt, spin and knit. That's all I can think of for now.

Theresa, Welcome. Sounds like your hands are full. I have 4 kids as well ~ but mine are 22, 21, 17, and 11. I home schooled my kids when the 2 oldest were younger (up until high school) and then went back to the work force where I was in Crop Insurance and office management. I am now Sisterhood Coordinator for MaryJanes farm although I was a farmgirl long before this opportunity came to me. My husband works for Bolthouse farms a carrot producer and I am the assistant director of the local farmers market as well. Our two oldest sons are in the military and the other 2 are home... Glad you are here. Welcome!

Welcome Theresa!! I am also a christian homeschooling mom. We have two children, 14 yo daughter and 11 yo son. You will enjoy this wonderful group. I am learning to sew, too. I love to crochet and knit. I am more confident sewing by hand then by machine. Ruth

Welcome, Theresa! I know you will love it here. I am a quilter and knitter who is resisting the urge to learn to spin (I'm sure I will love it, and my laundry will NEVER get done!) Hugs to you and yours! Georgiann

Hi Theresa and welcome from Wisconsin! I'm a married gal with 2 grown sons, ages 28 and 25, both out on their own. I enjoy knitting, crocheting, sewing, painting and any other crafts that find their way into my house....LOL I have a teeny tiny yard so only some flowers and 4 tomato plants but hoping to sneak in more veggies next summer. I also live in town but as a kid grew up on a farm and once it's in your blood.....well it hides in your heart and never leaves :) I know you will love it here. All the ladies are so friendly and helpful. Tis a grand place to be :)

Hi, Theresa, and welcome! I would also love to learn to knit and spin. I'm learning to weave now, and hope soon to add to it with my own handspun fibers! Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Hello! I also have 4 children, 31, 29, 27 and 22. I home schooled our youngest child as well. She wasn't getting challenged enough through the local school so we pulled her the last 2 years and really paid off. Also she had chosen a Christian College so could give her a better background for that. She is now a Senior, YIPEEE!
I love living in the country!! |
