Do you remember the TV shows McMillan and Wife or Kate and Ally? Do you know who Susan St. James is? (She's an actress, married to Dick Ebersol, they lost their son in a terrible plane crash a few years ago) She just ordered ten of my feed sack purses for Christmas gifts! She wants red or green so I'm emailing her photos of what I've got and she'll pick what she wants.
First MaryJane, now Susan! (I have to confess, though, MaryJane was a bigger thrill).

Ginny, that is so awesome. I've been obsessed with other things lately and hadn't noticed a post from you so I was getting ready to send you an e-mail. I figured you were swamped with orders - why wouldn't you be - your purses are fantastic! I've been picked up Country Woman so that I don't miss the issue with your article. Have you done that yet or is it in the works? Anyways, last month's mag features a woman who makes purses from old cowboy boots. I thought, "Wait til they see Ginny's purses! She'll become a star!" Little did I know that you're already there. You go, girl. You make all of us farmgirls proud!!!

I heard from her yesterday and now she wants 12 purses. I emailed some photos and I'm waiting to hear back. I'm so excited! Thankfully I've only got two more weeks of my regular work schedule and then I'm cutting back to three days a week, which will free up more time for sewing. I am really looking forward to that.
