post the recipe here for that yummy sinful looking bread/roll that you pictured on your blog - with the Rhodes dough and the cream cheese etc. Looks so good for fall...Thanks!

sorry I forgot to post this last night...I AM getting old!!

Almond Cream Cheese Bundt
1 cup sliced almonds, divided
1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
24 RHODES diner rolls, thawed but cooled (I am sure you could use homemade roll dough too)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup packed brown sugar
glaze:
1 Tbsp butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2 Tbsp water
1/2 tsp almond extract

coat a 10" fluted tube pan with cooking spray, sprinkle with 1/2 cup almonds; set aside. Cut cream cheese into 24 equal little cubes, in a small bowl combine the sugar, cinamon and nutmeg. Roll the cream cheese cubes in sugar mixture and coat completely. Wrap a roll around each cube to completely enclose the cheese. Dip each filled roll in sugar mixture until coated.

Place 12 filled and coated rolls in the prepared pan and sprinkle with half the remaining almonds. Combine the butter and brown sugar in a small microwave safe bowl and heat 30 seconds until the brown sugar is dissolved. stir to combine. Pour half of this mixture over the rolls in the pan. Place remaining rolls in pan, sprinkle with remaining nuts and any remaining sugar mixture and top with rest of the butter mixture.

Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in warm place until the dough reaches the top of the pan. Remove wrap and bake at 350 for 45 min. To prevent over browning, cover wth foil the last 15 min of baking. Invert pan immediately onto a serving platter (it is natural for the bread to settle) combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over the warm bread.
12-14 servings

don't make the mistake I did and get the texas size rolls..mine grew to giant proportions. it was still very yummy..but it tried to escape the pan and was hard to contain!!
I am ready to make this one again..maybe tomorrow!!
