Hello all -
Whenever someone replies on this site, or starts a new topic, I just love to see what they choose to put as a profile signature. Just now I read Firefly's, who put - "pieces of the moon dancing". That is exactly what fireflies look like, come to think of it! So beautiful! And another signature that comes to mind right at this moment - "And she laughed and laughed". Sounds like someone I would want to be around!
Everyone here has a creative and insightful little sideline, and anyone who wants to elaborate on how they chose, please do so! I would love to hear about it!
I already explained mine once somewhere else on this site, so I will not bore you again! Suffice it so say, in my soul lies a reincarnated prairie woman.

Hi Jeannie. Well, my signature is the one that says, "she laughed and laughed ..." I just love that expression too, and got it from my friend Ruby, who has it hanging above her mirror. We are great pals who just love to laugh together! I'm blessed to be a happy-go-lucky gal, and even won "the best laugh in the Northwest" contest by our next-door big city newspaper. Actually, the columnist never really heard me laugh - he just asked for people to write in their suggestions for the contest and a friend sent him a cute little story about me. I was thrilled ... and needless to say, I laughed and laughed!
I love other people's signatures too, and always appreciate the ones you all come up with!
I'm laughing and smiling even more than usual this week, because I just quit my 10-year university job to work at MaryJanesFarm full time! I've been with MaryJane for about 3 years now, but have done it all nights and weekends. This is the first time in my life I'm not going to have a "traditional" job, and I'm just thrilled about it. The day I decided to make the leap, I received an e-mail with this as a signature:
Twenty years from now, you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. Throw off the bow lines, Sail away from the safe harbor, Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. - Mark Twain
I took that as the perfect sign!

Carol - Congratulations! I am laughing in happiness that for you, a dream job came true. That is a rare gift, and I applaud you for taking the leap. I had one of those jobs when I worked for a needlework company. I was getting paid to do what I loved. We all should find places like that to spread our wings.
It seems like MaryJanesFarm will be a safe place to land, though. From a customer's viewpiont, it has all the earmarks of a growing but caring business.
Go, girl! jpbluesky

How wonderful Carol..what a dream job!!! I loved the Mark Twain quote too!! I use my signature "bloom where you are planted" since I feel like you never know what life will bring. I try to enjoy where I am while I am there and know that someday I will have my REAL farm, but for now, I will bloom and do my best where ever I am ...where I am planted.
