Corinne - I will send it to your parents - I don't care about postage, and there is one thing I will bring with me in March:) E-mail me your parents address. Now my DH and DS will be jealous because I am sending stuff overseas!!

I would love for ya'll to come to see me. We will let the good times roll at Mardi Gras time. That is also right around my birthday! I will feed you all a King Cake. Whoever gets the baby in their piece of cake has to buy the next cake. Deal? Dawn, I would let my accent rip, but it takes too much time to type it yeah! It sounds much better in person. Another festival that my relatives celebrate is the Couchon de lait. We roast a suckling pig with an apple in it's mouth, play Cajun music and dance in the streets! Any reason is an excuse for a party. LOL!

was reading that tomatoes can be planted 100 feet apart from each other..but once they start to bloom..if you have heirlooms that you don't want to cross..simply net over them with a netting and tie..but you have to do so before the blossoms open..but you can plant 100 feet apart

Brenda, we have the very same tradition on Epiphany day, we call the baby a 'feve", it used to be a dry broad bean and it meant good luck for the year to the one finding it.

Well I wish it was me but my mom, dad, and son will all be in Louisiana in February. Maybe I can go with them next year and stop by and meet you - you have my mouth watering Brenda, all that talking about roasting pigs....

Not too bad, but I didn't have to drive. Went to Lyle's and the Bear Paw. I was pretty good, I only bought four ornaments, a ladybug, a frog, an ornament I can't say here because it's for an ornament exchange on the forum, and a big green spool of thread with a needle and about four yards of three different fabrics. Got home about three, made bread and spaghetti for supper. A good day, especially since I get to visit with all of you.

Dawn, as a matter of fact I just did the ironing, but I let my homemaking team down and did not iron my bras.
I did put my jeans and socks in the dryer a while ago to warm them up, then I put my boots on because I was freezing to death. Unfortunately my alarm clock, I mean basset hound now thinks we are going for a walk. She is just sitting staring at me as I post. It is not happening tonight Annabelle

Amy Grace, Robbie is starting to get pretty jealous when he brings the mail to me. Today there were 4 cards from out of state and he read the address on each one before he handed it to me. I told him I have two coming - one from the Netherlands and one from Canada. He was pretty impressed when I got Corinne's card. You have raised me up a rung or two on the ladder in his eyes, Corinne!
