I've wanted to scrapbook, but I have not ever done it. I am so involved in quilting that I don't know where I'd find time to do it as a hobby.
I think you idea is a great one Corinne. It would kinda of be the whos who of the Mavens.

Teresa Sue, I feel the same, not enough time when we are quilters to do more than that, the proces is long but ho so enjoyable. I was looking last night at your GranMother quilt blocks, I like the colors very much, you will have a beautiful quilt when done.

TS: you could incorporate quilting in the scrapbook.... its not all paper and stickers... I have crystals and ribbons and buttons in Audreys... thank goodness she isn't a farmerette who posts!!! Otherwise she'd know her present!

Thank you Corinne. I'm just doing scraps, so it's not a planned color scheme. The little hexagons really do use a lot of scraps that would go to waste.

TS well you got one on me..... I am NOT a quilter! Square and tying knots..... thats as far as I go.
So Karen what did ya eat? I made biscotti the other night and today I made peanut butter and chcolate fuge. Peanut butter cups, sugar cookies and choc chips cookies. I stillhave to make cherry bars and cheesecake squares.....but I am working tomorrow, so that willhave to wait!

I have so much fabric Dawn that I don't have room for scrapbooking stuff! lol. I decided about a year ago that I only have so much time left on the beautiful blue planet and I'm going to spend it gardening and quilting.

Okee dokee, I'm "caught up."
I love you guys! It's so good to hear y'alls voices.
Usually we have an ornament exchange but this year they changed it to desserts. Just when I'm beginning to sort of recover from the effects of Thanksgiving feasting. The meal was good but lots of startch, very Italian. I brought chocolate cornflake candy and took home Snickers peanut butter fudge. Haven't tasted it yet. Robbie and I sure don't need to eat all that fudge and I'm hoping he can take it to work next week for food day and bring home a few pieces for us. Or maybe I'll cut it into pieces and send it in a different container. It's very pretty - wreath-shaped.

Quilt away then! I did a longaberger basket swap with someone awhile back... her name is Sherry...... she sent me a quilt for the baskets I sent her. Its amazing. Leather and suede and sooooooo warm. Its so well made the dogs havent even marred it....yet. And HUGE! and it smells like horses....ahem.... I mean leather.....
