thought i'd share some of the chairs and benches that we have scattered thither and yon around 'the farm' ... i find time to visit each of them on a regular basis .. with either a good book or magazine .. or jus' sittin' with honey-man with a cuppa' joe:
this is a fav of hank's .. after a cold summer shower or hot autumn shower. of course, kathy sugarbucket and krew built this for us .. GO EDDIE on that plumbin' part! as you can see .. it is BEHIND the barn .. but no walls!
JUST got this sweet bench .. plopped it down by the flag pole to PAINT .. i love the sunny yellow .. but will 'subdue' it a tad and find it's final 'resting place' .. might put it near the 'firepits' .. or down by the 'treehouse'
this little green cutie .. sits up on the 'schoolhouse' porch
here t'is again .. with a fantastic little child's school desk (and seat!) that i got from friend luna!
got this one same day .. same place as the yellow/green one .. gonna' paint it a more 'earthy' color too .. probably either barn red or forest green.
gotta' admit .. i don't sit in THIS one .. i saw JAKE restin' here one day!
this ole timey one sits against the 'schoolhouse wall' along with lotsa' olde farm tools
this one does too! these two usually end up with plants or 'seasonal' things sittin' on them .. yep! toooooo close to a wall where Mr. and Mrs. Jake sometimes slither! (THEY were here FIRST!)

i guess this child's swing qualifies for a 'sittin' place .. usually i find my dollies out here swinging back and forth and giggling with glee!

of course .. you can sit on the front porch of the Lower Creek
or the front porch of the Upper Cabin.
