I am making a jam from an old recipe and it calls for one ground lemon, peel and pulp. I am assuming that you could just chop up a lemon in the food processor and remove the seeds but would appreciate any insight that anyone has Thanks!! Amy Grace

My mom always ground a whole orange into her cranberry salad -- with the hand-cranked food grinder. She cut it in half and removed the seeds first (although I don't think they would hurt you). I think it would be much easier, quicker and cleaner to do it in the food processor, though. I am anxious to hear how the jam turns out! Georgiann
