I am breaking out the wool socks and sweaters! My toes are froze!
It has been raining here for about the past 7 days. Today we got a few hours break so I went out an mowed the lawn. Good thing I did! Another downpour started not long after I got done! It's good for the ground to get soaked like this though. I am just surprised. Normally September is cooler but usually not this cold!
I will tell you a secret though- I am kind of enjoying it a bit! I love to wrap up in blankets and bulky clothes. I love sipping a hot drink and feeling warm and toasty despite the temperature! So I haven't turned the heaters on yet except we did put the space heater in Nora's room.
Oh Alee: I'd love to be in wool socks and sweaters. I absolutley love winter!!! Here in Louisiana it is hot and humid! I mowed the yard today with shorts and flip-flops. LOL I'm a bit jealous that you are experiencing that wonderful cold weather and I am not. LOL Enjoy it all, Alee. Marly

Hey Alee, I gotta tell ya...I sympathize. Today it's a bit chilly and I am already missing the 80 degree weather we've been having! Enjoy cuddling your baby gal, once you have more than one they all go differant directions and there is no rest for the weary, or cuddlin for the cold in this situation!!
We had a warm and sunny day yesterday and today is rainy and cold again. :( Luckily it seems the house holds on to the heat pretty well, as my sun room was still decently warm this morning.
Nora is back into some footie pajamas so at least I know she will stay "covered" from head to foot, even if she throws off her blankets!
This weather is making me start to wish that I could still swaddle her for bed!!
Sure wish it would cool some here. Its so hot here you take a bath and get out and sweat again. Yuck! Please send some of your cooler weather here Alee. Karen
