Glad I got my subscription in. Hoping this will be my first issue. Well, actually my second because I got the other at the store and then subscribed.

I did drive over 26 miles yesterday to the Kirksville, Mo. Tractor Supply hoping to catch the new issue of MJ and IT WASN'T THERE! I was so disappointed...but I got over it by the time I drove the 26 miles back home and did my chores.

Grace, are you going to use your shoes for shelve brakets like pictured?! Aren't those to cute?! I never would have thought of doing that. If I had enought shoes I would, just as a pick me up for when I walked in the room, they would just make me smile.

LOL I would deffinatly hit the thrift, why put up your own shoes that you 'may' wear again someday?! At least that's what I tell myself, and that's why I don't get rid of mine!

Oh I know! I love the poinsettia ice skates! So pretty!

I also liked the purse bookend. What a clever idea. Now, if only I had a vintage purse....

I got mine on Saturday...after a long day at farmers market. It was like someone reached out and gave me a hug. What is it about his magazine?

Celeste,
For me, I think it is having everything I "love" on every page....My men seem to love it too.. as when I get it I "retreat" to the nearest quiet place, not to be seen for quit some time :) My youngest son told someone the other day that his "favorite day" is when "mom gets her MaryJane magazine" as I forget HIS chore list :)

I'm anxious to get mine. It seems everyone else around me has gotten theirs...I hope the post office ladies didn't latch on to it (it's been known to happen with other people's magazines).

Hello,

I am new to Mary Jane's website. I found the Aug./Sept. 2008 issue of Mary Jane's magazine at my local library, and all I can say is WOW! What a great magazine! I subscribed right away, and purchased the book, Mary Jane's Outpost "Unleashing Your Inner Wild." I am currently working as a non-profit agency manager and attending school part-time to become a Medical Receptionist. However, in my wildest dreams, I want to be a farmer. I have 8 1/2 acres of land in Northeast Georgia. I have 3 dogs, 2 hives of honeybees and 4 hens/1 rooster. I love the outdoors, and I know deep down I belong outdoors. I hope that one day I can live out my passion, and be an organic farmer/outdoor girl!
