Here's a photo of my farm from early this spring....my old, rusty roofed barn, the American flag waving proudly, my Belgium Draft horse, Jack, grazing on the sweet spring grass, buttercups beginning to bloom, the creek sparkling in the early morning light... happiness is found here every morning and every night!

Glory....it is gorgeous and how neat not to have to haul water! Where do you live? Kentucky? I try to id barn styles and it looks southern? Like I said...I try but it doesn't look like a barn from the midwest. Oh...and Jack....I love draft horses....what a view! Do you have a bridge across the river/creek? DOes it get bigger in the SPring? Love to see more pics and hear more of your "heaven"!

Absolutely heavenly. Thanks so much for sharing the pic. One day I hope to have a place like that. What a beautiful way to start and end every day.

How beautiful and peaceful! Like Marcy, I too hope someday to have a place like that!
My grandparents and dad were all born and raised in TN(Grundy County) and I still have relatives there.

BEAUTIFUL!! I knew it had to be KY or TN, it looked so much like my neck of the woods. I am in KY but only 18 miles from the TN border. We are so blessed to live in the mountains.

Thanks, everybody! It is a lovely place to call home, and I'm so grateful and feel very blessed. We've been out here about 20 years. I feel exactly the same...Thank God I live in the country! Frannie, I'm posting more photos... The tiny little cabin is for guests, and the photos are of the screened in front porch and some of the interior...very patriotic! And the back of my barn, (see all the kitties!), and the property in fall and winter.

I agree with Jeannie...... Green with envy here!!!! I don't have rolling mountains or hills. South Georgia is kind of flat. BUT I am blessed still!
Thank God I live in the country! |

prettiest place, and I love what you've done indoors as well as out. I love the ivey and often wonder if a dwelling would fall apart if the ivey "hug" was pulled away. P~

Anytime! We're thinking of having quarterly barn sales with antiques, local produce, goods, etc., starting in the spring. Should be fun! Ya'll come!
