We had a great time. Built a deck for our place. 7X24 Ft and everyone around us is jealous...hehehe...
Gary's parents hurt themselves badly so we can't move far off now. We're goint to stay put. My Gigi is in the best barn around and I don't want to move her someplace lesser. I got to ride a bit, even bareback, but it was so hot/humid/smokey that I couldn't breathe. Next year we'll wait till Sept or so to take our vacation. No more August!!
Anyway, to tell the truth, I'm glad I'm back on the road. I don't think I could have dealt with the local jobs that I found. It's too much work to stay home!! Dishes, dusting, vaccuuming, etc!! YIKES!! I will stick with truck driving. I am trying to work to live instead of living to work!
Good to be back. I'm only going to be on for a few minutes right now. I'm loading in SoCal and then it's off to upstate NY, somewhere by Buffalo.

It sounds like that vacation really did you some good!!! Glad for it. Glad you're enjoying work again. I'm jealous of the deck too...been wanting to build one for some time but can't quite seem to get DH to spend the money and time on it quite yet...still at the talking stage...oh I hate the talking stage!!! It lasts too long. Are we there yet? Are we there yet? That's me. I'd make a lousy trucker huh?

Hey Winona I have a big Purple Peterbuilt that loads in CA every Monday then on to Ohio Dear hubby is the driver. Be safe Out there.
