I was wondering if anyone has worked on the tin can in the garden badge where we have to use at least 15 tin cans in the garden? What are you all doing with them besides the tin man/woman?

Kim, do you have ANY idea where I might find directions to make such a tin man or woman?? I have been wanting to make one since ages ago. I saw one in Canada once and it was SO cute! Tried to make one, but need an example/picture or directions, whatever LOL.
SO any help on that??
Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands :)

Does it have to be artistic use? I'm not a member of the club, so I don't know the description of the badge.
The first thing that comes to my mind is a row of 15 tuna can slug traps (filled with beer). My mom always used old pie plates, which are about the same height. |

Amie, You can view the badges on the web. (the pages that has the differnt topics) You dont have to be a member to view whats needed, just be a member to obtain the badge recognition.)

I went to an iris farm, and they used them on christmas tree lights as a decorative tin punched cover. The Dec-Jan 2009 issue also has tin can christmas ornaments that would be cute decorations, or to discourage birds. I'm working on that same badge! Cherian |
