Today I'm working out in the yard. Just finished weedeating the fence row. Loooooong fence row. Our yard is 2 acres so it is twice as long as an acre. Still working on getting beds ready for next spring. I always say I am going to have them ready by winter to save some of the work in the busy spring. Well, I have made a start. Yesterday made another batch of applebutter so think I'll give apples a rest today and maybe do up some tomatoes. YES I have tomatoes, finally. Thought about cleaning house, but got rid of that thought real quick.

Today we are waiting on the direct tv guy. but I am happy to report after some hard work over the last few days my house is put back together and looks wonderful! I am so excited, after living out of boxes, climbing over boxes etc... all summer to have a nice clean home. It is decorated to my liking and everyone loves it.
We are all at peace and enjoying our "new" home.

Blessings, Debra

This morning I have done some PTA president stuff along with laundry and breakfast with my family. Now Miss K and I are off to have passport photos made and Joanne Fabrics. Then it is lunch with my mother-in-law and a family pool party this afternoon.

We have to go to Home Depot, where I get sensory overload. I was thinking of packing a picnic and driving through the woods. We have not had a chance to explore much. Last weekend, we found the ghost town 16 miles down the road behind our house. It was fun, but the grizzly bear warning signs always give me the willies.

I'm emptying out an old closet so that I can use it to store all my crafting supplies. Got it all emptied out cept for the big boxes of hubby's books. The more I look at this closet, the more I believe all my stuff isn't gonna fit...LOL!

I'm babysittng my 3 1/2 year old grandson--my usual Monday JOB-PLEASURE-FUN DAY. We (he) are watching Dora right now.
It's too hot to do much outside. He wants to go out and play, but I am discouraging that. It's even hot in the shade.
I don't get much else done on Mondays--you all know how it is with a 3 1/2 year old--ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION

WooHoo I made it to break time! I don't have long to sit. The family is coming over in about an hour for a cookout and I still have to clean out the grill and get it going. So far the kids and I have cleaned the house top to bottom, been to the grocery store, cleaned up and mowed the yard.

I am going to work as chick hatching waits for no holiday. Later tonight I am going to the Fireman's Festival to watch hubby in the tractor pull and fireworks. This morning I accomplished: soapmaking (my pumpkin pie bars), painting the bottom of my Wheeling double sided wash tub (using it for beverages at Harvest Hop), dishes, all the alundry is washed and out on the line, I ironed tablecloths and placemats, fnished my farmgirl tiara and packaged it up, showered and now I am dreading going to work....
