have any of you gurlz seen the doll: FANCY NANCY? she has jus' stolen my heart! i think there are some books about her too .. i'm going to check a big book store for them on Sunday .. i just can't resist her .. gonna' get her for grand-daughter Sofia's birthday. Sofia ADORES fancy shoes and purses .. and Fancy Nancy has all kinds of 'fancy' accessories!
Daughter Wednesday took Sofia 'shoe shopping' last week for some 'tennis shoes' .. you woulda' thought she was Imelda Marcos!
When Wednesday tried to put the tennies on Sofia .. she shook her head and said: "NOT like those!" .. then she would find the sparkliest fancy ones she could find .. put them on and she looked up at Wednesday with a huge smile and beamed: BE-U-Tee-Full!
oh darlin' .. she sure steals my heart! she definitely has a mind of her own .. i tell wednesday that i 'fear' she has inherited her grammie's WILD CHILD demeanor! (wednesday is sooooooooooooooooooo GENTLE!)
