been doin' some 'recylcin' today .. took curtains and made them into porch pillows!
used some of the softer cotton curtains for 'dish towels' .. this fabric just grabs the 'wet' offa' dishes!
even took some olde towels and cut them into RAGS! these are great for a multitude of 'house chores' ... if you don't have any olde ones .. check you local thrift store .. they can usually be bought for a buck or less .. give 'em a good 'warshin' .. and voila! cheap rags!
got these five chairs on our trip to illinois .. MAPLE .. (gonna' paint them!) only $50. for all FIVE! -- will probably use these on our 'tree house' platform!
painted some kitchen chairs BLACK .. wanna' 'ruff' 'em up .. but need kathy SUGARBUCKET's expert guidance .. so they don't just look 'beat up'!
As always Frannie, I love looking at your pictures. I love your cushions for the porch chairs, I could just crawl up in one of them with a book and get all comfy. Keep sharing - as your pics are always a pleasure!

thanks sweet susie! those are usually our 'morning coffee chairs'!!! i sat out there today (we have a ceiling fan on the porch .. which helped me stay 'cool' and read a coupla' chapters of a book.
those were my 'kitchen curtains' .. haven't replaced them yet .. haven't found 'jus' what i want yet! xo
