Good Morning ladies! I have a question that I hope someone out there can help me with. Can I use white vinigar and water to mop lightly on these snap together fake hardwood floors? I know you can use the swifter wet pads, but didn't know if the vinigar might do something to this type of flooring. Any help would be appreciated!

Lani-

I used to own a cleaning service and I used vinegar water on all types of flooring- including the type that you are speaking about.

It is always a good practice to ring your rag or mop out as much as possible for any floor. Only use as much water as you you need to get the job done.

Vinegar and water is one of the strongest, yet gentlest cleaners out there. Of course- just in case my experience is with a slightly different type of flooring- you can always try the mixture on a small section of the floor, let it dry and come back to see. But I would be willing to bet that it will be just fine.

Thank you so much Alee, your a live saver! I scrub by hand and don't use a mop, so I'll let you know how it works. Thanks again!

We have that flooring in two rooms. My husband says just don't get it wet where they join together. Like Alee says use a very low moisture rag. I use an organic wood floor cleaner like murphy's oil smells great and works great.

I have Pergo flooring in my kitchen and the water/vinegar mix works just fine for me. I spray it on and mop off immediately with a removable dust mop. It cleans the floor beautifully and I haven't had any problems doing it this way for the past year.
