Does anyone have a recipe for kettle corn like the local fairs have during the Fall season?

Yes I do! I bought a popper just for kettle corn. Can't make it in the electric stir crazy. I use 1/3 cup oil and 1/3 cup sugar. When that gets good and hot, add 1/2 cup popcorn. Then grab the handle and stir like crazy so the sugar won't burn. Then you have to be sure and wash the popper real fast so the sugar won't set up. Especially on the stirer. I always add just a little salt before serving. The salty sweet is sooooo good.

OK...YUM! But PMS food??? Nothing beats potato chips dipped in chocolate! Not even pretzels dipped in chocolate or double dipped choc pnuts OR a whole pint of Ben & Jerry's New York Double Fudge Chunk eaten with a giant spoon while you are soaking in a bubble bath. (although that runs a good close 2nd)

Does anyone see a trend here?

When we were on vacation, some vendors were selling it at the fireworks gatheirng. But sorry, I'll tuck this recipe away and never pay 7.00 for a bag of popcorn!

Thanks for sharing
