to celebrate with family and friends .. do you hand-make (bake), etc. your gifts or are they store-bought?

I have always made a few and bought a few but this will be the first year I make everything... I am getting tired just thinking about it :)

you can be oh so smart, or you can be oh so positive. I wasted a lot of time being smart I prefer being positive.

I usually try to make a lot of my gifts. I love to stitch (cross and primitive) and bake, so those are usually what everyone gets! I love to receive homemade gifts as well. I love the thought that goes into them!

Yep. tomorrow I'm lecturing at U of Utah and I'm bringing the coordinator of the department (who happens to be a friend) half of the banana cake I made today and a jar of Stuie's tomato sauce made from our garden tomatoes and basil. We're Italiain. Food = love.

Happy Wishes!

I try real hard to make most of the gifts I give. I do better with the women for some reason. Last year I made alot of dolls for the kids too..the boys (mine and nephews) got boy dolls. I am working on this year's stuff already. Neighbors get cheeseballs every Christmas eve. The kids love when we go out to deliver them and they get to run them to the doors.

The majority of gifts I buy. But I try to find something that I can bake to give away. This year I'm going to make pound cakes. Haven't tried the recipe yet so who know...may change my mind, LOL.
