One of Doug's co-workers is in a band so we went to listen to them play tonight. I was very impressed. It was nice to get out and the band performed well- even playing a couple extra songs. But I am glad to be home. I just am not cut out for late nights anymore I guess.

Oh Alee...I know just what you mean! My husband is in the music business and the ultimate "night owl". Even when I was younger I couldn't hang!! Years ago, when we were first together, his "fun" would start about 10/11pm!! I remember once we went out to dinner on a Friday night (at the usual dinner time) but I had worked all week and then driven 3 hours to be with him...and fell right asleep at the dinner table in the restaurant! I remember ordering, listening to tales from his week, then noticing our dinner was all packed up in a 2-go box! I had nodded right off with my chin resting on my hands, upright no less!!!! Whew! Nowadays.....I'm thinking a 9:30 bedtime is just great! (Mostly cause up at weird hours during the night...gotta get sleep when I can...ha!)
