and thanks, for taking the time to read this. i will be going to a new doctor tomorrow and i would be fibbing if i said i'm not just a wee worried over this. so if you ladies could just send prayers and healing thoughts my way i will feel stronger about this whole thing and what may come of it.

thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, i can feel them all the way here at the farm. dh and i are heading out for our trek to the doctor in denison, not a long trip, just 24 miles away. i will be back this evening to keep ya posted on what happened, all the she saids, i saids, (my new doc is a woman).
i feel as armed as i can with all your good thoughts and prayers, and thanks for taking the time to post them here. love.....

just a quick update, as i am headed for bed.
first, i really like my doctor, she is a woman, and told me i looked younger than my age (57)! yeah, good pr at least.
we did accomplish taking a about a pint of blood from me which she says should make me feel better right away.
we will be spending several days taking test, mri cat scans etc etc. but no bone marrow biopsy. (this is the test i feared the most)
anyway, she explained there are 3 different reasons why this could be occuring, bone marrow malfunction, a tumor somewhere in my body that is sending a message that i need more rbc than i really do, and toxic exposure to chemicals.
so she is going to rule out a tumor somewhere.
it seems my liver and kidneys already seem okay, so she is gonna focus on my lungs, breast and brain.
so i guess i still need those prayers girlfriends and i will keep ya posted on everything, but all in all i felt good about today.
my 2 fears that were resolved today, were would i have to have a bone marrow biopsy in the near future and would i like my doctor. no and yes, but all in all it was a success.
