Hey Rene, and other Farm Girls:
I hate to be a party pooper....but 3 YEARS ago I made 2 "traveling aprons" and 2 journals to be sent out from farm girl to farm girl and decorated as a thank you gift to Mary Jane...
I have asked, and emailed repeatedly if anyone knows what happened to them, with no answer, so I AM ASKING AGAIN:
"WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FIRST SET OF TRAVELING APRONS?" I can't say that it hasn't bothered me and hurt a bit that they were apparently discarded or forgotten.Meg was in charge of the list keeping then, does she have any info?
I would appreciate any info anyone has. Thanks. |

I beg your pardon, I researched it and Kate was taking care of the list, and the last farmgirls I see mentioning they had the aprons were MollyMae and Karin....? |

Deb, I think I am most excited about reading the journal and seeing the apron's adventure. I love the thought that each of my sisters have worn it during a moment of their lives.. So fun! I will add you to the list.. By the way, love you tag line ( well behaved women rarely make history) not that I need additional motivation to be bad... but it is always nice to have something in the arsenol :)

Hi Diana, I don't have any info for you~ But maybe some of the others will email you. If you know the last ones that had them (to your knowledge) maybe just click on their names and ask them via email~ they can tell you who they passed it onto.. As we all know, life sometimes take over and we get a little sidetracked. A lot of the gals have moved etc and it has been a very busy summer (as you can tell by reading the forum), Hopefully they can be located and send either to you or keep "em moving around the farmgirls~ that journal would be fun to read too.... So if they are still out there I would invite you to just send them to me and I will see what diane wants to do from there.

Count me in! Sounds like fun. If this apron could talk think of the stories it could tell. Think that way when you do the journal entry.

I will color in Blue the names of the gals that have had the apron so we can keep track of where it has been... does that work with everyone?
