This is an amazing site for horse owners or want to be horse owners like myself! I am starting to plan my future homestead and I need to know the best way for the horse I plan on buying to be fed. I want to graze her through summer and fall to cut hay expense, but I also want to make sure she is getting good nutrition and not depleting the soil. In fact, would ideally like my pasture to improve the soil.
OH THANKS~ We grow our hay but still big expense and the grain has almost doubled since last summer but my horse is older and needs more requirements. THANKS for posting that link!!
