It's official! Justin and I are having our first baby, and we're both ecstatic. We went to our first appointment this am, and saw our little bundle of joy (though, he/she was kicking and waiving it's arm, so maybe not so joyous, but DEFINITELY ours ) We are at 13 weeks along, so wish us luck!!!

Thank you for your kind words, Annika...we're both very happy about this :) At 34, I wasn't sure if it would happen for us.

Wouldn't THAT be something, Molly?! I honestly have no preference--but girls are SO much easier to dress :) Jus said, whatever it is, it's going to hike up and down the creek bed with him and the dogs, so he didn't care either way...

**Hi Melanie! Thanks! You know, I feel fabulous--no morning sickness whatsoever, and now that I'm entering the second trimester, I'm feeling more normal and energized, for which I'm grateful...I don't sit still very well :)

How about you--what's the news on your little one?

Congrats Jonni, that's wonderful news!! I had suspected something, it was something you said on a post a few weeks ago to Miss Wilma about the October meeting. I'm so happy for you and Justin and your mom too! (((Big Hug)))

All your well wishes makes it hard to be here at the office!!! I'm just beaming right now, and I can't thank you enough. Diane, you'll be first to get a photo in the post!!!!

Lainey...you're sure perceptive, girl! I'm hoping I'm not huge by our gathering in October, but I shouldn't be too big--but I bet I'll be warm enough :)

CONGRATS!

Most babies, I hear are adjitated by Sono's. So he/she will probably always be kicking, and waving around! lol

My daughter had to have them weekly cause I was a high risk pg. (they saved her life thankfully!) But, my point is, she was always somersaulting, punching and kicking! lol hahaha Made for a lot of cut pics! lol :) The first one though I will admit looked like a snow man! lol 4 little balls! lol A small ball for a head, a bigger ball for a torso, and two tiny tiny balls for arms! lol hahaha It was cute. lol :) She was only about 4 weeks gestational at that point. lol

I just seen there was some messages about blogging up on a higher post, I found a great blog place for baby's was babysites.com I wish I could keep up with it better! I rarely update it as much as I should. But, maybe something you would like to look into. :)

Heather, I'd say that's a truth!!! It made me laugh, and even that made the little thing "surf"! I can't sit still naturally, and my husband is always moving about doing something, so that just makes sense, I guess.

Thanks so much for that site, Heather. I've been looking at all kindsof baby sites, some are good, so are not so good. I appreciate it!

Absolutely, Karin! Sadly, all my grandmother's are gone on my mom's side, so this little one will only have my mom (which is no small thing--she's wonderful!!!), but I regret that all the "greats" have passed on. The more the merrier, I always say

Jonni -- I am just so happy for you. What wonderful news! And how did you keep quiet about it for so long? Well, we're all just thrilled, as you can see. Hope you have a happy pregnancy -- it's such a magical time -- what's the ETA?

Best to you both,
