It has come to my attention that I have offended many farmgirls on this forum. I am not sure why or how as no one came to me personally but I have offended them nonetheless. I don't have the names of these farmgirls so I cannot make ammends to them myself. I never meant to hurt anyone. It has been a very, very hard year for my family. If I missed a swap or took too long to complete a barter I am truly sorry. It was not my intention at all to offend any of you. You are my farm girl heroes.
If any of the farmgirls that I have offended had come to me personally I would have made it right. I was not given that opportunity.. Now I just feel ashamed and embarrassed that I hurt people here.
I am leaving the forum. I will complete my 1 outstanding barter (shawl is almost done Sage!) and the teabag swap and recipe swap. I will get those done this week.. And Sharon your dvd will go out too.
Please know that I enjoyed my time here. You are all amazing women! I am so glad I had the opportunity to get to know you through this medium.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all without knowing it helped me to get through a rough year when I had no family by my side. I met a few local people through MJF that was a blessing to me..

I am sorry to hear that you feel you must leave. I do not know the issues you speak of but I wish that you would reconsider. Families don't always agree or see eye to eye. This is like a family here. Take some time to rest & then please considering becoming involved again.

Debra- I hope you change your mind. I know you will be leaving a lot of friends behind.
Sage is my mom and I know that she is excited about the shawl but knows it takes a while to craft something so beautiful! She isn't stressed about it, so please don't stress either!

Dear Precious Debra ... as all loving and kind women on the farmgirl forum know ABSOLUTELY ... your spirit is bright and beautiful and we are every one of us blessed because of your presence and kind and thoughtful postings. I have never read a word that you have ever, ever, ever posted that was not full of love and truth.
The written word is sometimes hard to 'interpret' and when kindness is posted and it is not heard as such .. well .. that comes from the one 'hearing' .. not the one 'saying'.
The internet has opened up a whole world of people to us .. we come from all walks of life .. with different backgrounds and different beliefs .. and if we are not able to 'step outside' of our own comfort zone to see those who are different from us as anything but god's wonderous creation .. then i believe that is very, very, very sad .. BUT .. it is simply something that has to be worked through by each of us .. or accepted by each of us.
You are a true ray of sunshine, personally, in my own life .. and i know in the lives of many, many, many, many other farmgirl friends.

Debra, I had to do a little research to remember where we'd posted together (I'm new and people still blur for me sometimes). Where would we be without your wonderful dehydrator recipes??? I don't know you that well since I haven't been a farmgirl that long but I hate to see you leave. Please do spend time in prayer about this. Frannie is so right about the written word being easy to misinterpret. The things on my heart to tell you have already been said. I'd just like to add that for those of us who are new to the farm, we'd certainly miss getting to know you and learn from you. Please reconsider.

Debra. please don't leave. I probably make a lot of gals fuming each day and sometimes there are post I don't agree with but I never try to take it too personally, with the exception of an isolated incident. I belonged to another forum and THAT was an awful forum, I was getting horrible threatening emails all because of an opinion. Scary!!! I know no one here means no harm and yes, I am sure there are a few who will always gets weeded out as well...weeds!!! Please don't leave. We love you!!!

I have no idea what's going on. But, I wish you would stay. I've enjoyed reading and commenting on your postings. Like Heather said, I'm sure some of my postings are taken the wrong way, too. I do agree with you, and wish whoever has a grief with you should contact you. I will certainly stand behind you.

Debra, please reconsider and stay. I personally can not imagine who would be upset with you, I have always found your postings to be very kind and loving. You have been a joy to have on here. If there is some problem somewhere I know you can work it out. I hope your prayers lead you to stay with us.

Debra, I am sorry your spirit is not full of joy at the moment and that you are sad. I am sure we each have our opinions that don't make all people happy all the time but I sure will be praying about your situation. I am sorry you are having to go through this. I can say I have been in a place of great saddness and where my spirit was being attacked and it can be so hurtful. Many prayers going out to you and I sure hope you stay cuz I have not chatted with you that much but sure would miss a fellow farmgirl. hugs

When I first joined the forum, I offended a fellow farmgirl. She had sent me a lovely scenery photo of some Amish neighbors buggy and not realizing it would upset her, I posted the lovely photo on my website/blog. She was irrate and hurt- I was devastated for having upset her so. It was ignorance on my part, but I was in the wrong.
I did all I could, including completely delete the photo from my computer, to make things right, but it wasn't enough.
I volunteered to leave the forum but my friends here wouldn't hear of it. So I waited- this dear lady left- even though the same ladies were begging her not to. I hate that she wasn't able to stay. She felt threatened I think- but nothing could be further from the truth.
I hate that she left not realizing that with work,repentance and grace from God things can be worked out.
I was clearly in the wrong,even though by accident- and the ladies here were kind enough to allow me to stay and show them that I was indeed sorry- and that I was not a threat to others.
I guess I'm trying to encourage you to work out whatever may have happened- I have no idea what it was or is- and both of you involved will gain so much.

Oh Debra! I'm wondering why you feel so discouraged about being a part of the farmyard. I have read you post and can only agree with the farm gals above!
You would be missed greatly!!! Don't go. You clearly wouldn't do anything purposefully to offend anyone! Neither would I, but stuff happens. And I may have offended some myself. If I did I certainly didn't mean too.
