Is anyone out there doing this project in the Idea book?
Can someone tell me where and if you buy just seed packets of cabbage, radish, ect... to sprout? Same with dried whole peas? I am assuming dried split peas wont work... :-)Untreated is best of course, but I am at a loss. Do I order from regular seed companies or get them from the health food store?
Just trying to figure it out.

thanks,
Cara

My organic/health food store has sprouting seeds. It's in a very small town so I think you could find them there. Also online places like Nichols Herbs has them. JoAnn

Thanks ladies!
I will start searching this weekend and make a few calls. I have to order from another town and have everything shipped here via small plane or ferry. It is a real hassle sometimes, as I wish I could just go and browse myself. :-)

Okay, I will give this a shot and hope that it's helpful:) I ran a bulk food section of an organic store for several years and I know the wholesale distributors but I think that they sell retail as well..... anyway you could try Frontier Herbs or San Francisco Herb and Spice Co. - both should pop up if you google them. I think for consumption it would probably be best to go with organic too...
Hope that helps
