I tried to get one started for a different group of mine, but don't think I did it right, lol

Heather, it didn't work for me at first either. But, it does take a long time to load, then after it loads, click on the button down below the small map that says 'stats, pics, map members' and a larger map will pop up. Don't give up - it did take me a long time to get it going too.
