Oh I am so red in the face and ashamed to say that I can't remember the name of the lovely lady who sent me a tea cup and goodies. She has the last name Bates and she is from Utah.
My dear sweet friend I received my teacup and it is sooo pretty. The candy is yummy. First candy I have had in my months and been able to enjoy it. The package could not have come at a better time. It was here when I got home from the hospital. Thank you so much for being so kind and generous.

Thanks Kelly. I posted to this thread when I received it (page 5), but have yet to email you or send a proper thank you. I am still doing the happy cup and saucer dance. I love the tea cup and saucer, plus the tea. I have enjoyed multiple cups of tea with it. I am really into that color at the moment. I collect lots of china. You have sparked my interest in this type. I will be searching for more.

Please forgive me for being slow in sending my tea cup to my swap sister.
I have it already but having trouble getting to the po. My little boy is sick and hard to handle these days. It is difficult to take him out with me. I even have the box and all (recycle the one from my cup I received LOL)
I think you will like the cup and saucer, and surprise hand made from me.

I haven't sent mine yet either. I have it but have been so busy getting the house back in order. I am happy to say- aside for a closet that needs to be cleaned- it is all done. Today we are waiting on the direct tv guy and tomorrow we start school! yay!
So sometime this week.

I haven't forgotten you!  Your teacup is planning to go out soon. The in-laws have been in for the last week  and that always throws everything off plan & then I will be out of town until Friday. I will let you know the day it is mailed for sure!

| My teacup came from Whiteraven! I have a photo to post but haven't been able to access internet from home for about a week! Lots of neato goodies including tea, scone mix (my fav kind), honey, lemon curd, tea blossoms (new to me), two saucers, and a teacup. THANK YOU!!! On a special note...I have been sharing all my MJF adventures with my post office lady. She has been a very attentive audience. Anyway, she loves tea and collects teacups so she has been very interested in our swap. I opened my box right there in the post office with her so she could share! She was almost as excited as I was!!! I shared my tea blossoms with her. I took one and gave the other two to her (1 for her teatime friend). She was so overcome! I told her that's sort of the whole idea behind "farmgirls" is the sharing of our joy/fun/support of each other. So, Whiteraven, your gift touched me and two others! You go girl!!!!! |

| received my tea cup from MISS DANA today,.......it is soooo cute!! light blue and violet flowers, some tea and pretty lavender doilies. can't wait to go back downstairs and just enjoy.....thanks miss dana! and everyone else.....have a great day! p.s. for those in the hurricane areas---having a cup of tea in a pretty cup makes things not sooooo bad!! |
