HONEY HUNK and i went to see Swing Vote this evening. i LOVED it! of course, i'm a real sucker for any AMERICA HURRAH! types of movies!
the little daughter is adorable .. there were a lot of funny lines in it .. and oh my gosh .. i LOVED the ending. when costner hosted the 'presidential debate' between the two candidates .. i ADORED how he decided to take some of the THOUSANDS of letters he had gotten .. as these people knew he had the 'candidates' EAR .. and ask him to please ask these powerful people about certain issues .. the one he asked was from a family man in KENTUCKY!!!!
i won't tell you who he votes for .. (and if you gurlz have already seen it .. let's keep that ending a delightful SURPRIZE) .. and by the way .. i GUESSED who he was going to vote for early on!
Frannie, my hubby and I went Saturday night and saw swing vote. I love Kevin! It was a cute movie and the little girl was just adorable, wasn't she? Lots of laughs in it. I think it should be on everyones movie list.
susie .. i agree .. there were some great 'one-liners' .. having worked with politicians all my life .. i got such a giggle from much of what was said! didn't you LOVE the ending!!!
I kept thinking that he may decide to pencil his own name in..... I sorta like the older one toward the end. But I probably would have penciled in Kevin myself!!! He is such a doll even in his rugged roles.
