so yesterday after i made lemon cookies, and then fresh lemonade, i sprikled baking soda on the squeezed lemons and used them to scrub my sinks and shower door. it did a great job of cleaning and smelled great. and then i used some of the lemons in the garbage disposal. how is that for getting your money's worth?

Amy: I have lemon trees. Last fall when I picked them, we had an over abundance of lemons! Well, I decided to squeeze those suckers and clean the house as you stated. The sides of my fingers had splits in them, which I didn't think about. Too much hard work with the hands. Anyway, it burned a little as I was cleaning. BUT the next morning my fingers were so swollen. LOL If I do that again, I am going to invest in some super-duper clothes to cover my hands and fingers. LOL Marly |

I always say, 'when life gives you lemons, shoot tequila!' never thought about scrubbing the shower door with them, have to give it a try....
