in my garden are pansys that are volunteers!! i turned the dirt in this garden as well as raked it before planting my poppys, which by the way are not blooming yetm and had just one pansy come up and bloom. after 3 days of heavy rain and cold i looked at my garden today and to my surprise there are tons of pansys in bud! weird! peace connie in alaska
our growing season is about 90 days but often shorter, rarely longer. i wiill try to get a picture and post it. my garden looks like a bunch of weeds growing but really it is mostly poppys that havent blossomed yet. peace connie in alaska
oh..you know you can clip those and press them between sheets of paper towels..use a heavy book like a phone book, and just layer the dry flowers on a sheet of paper toweling. I have sooo many dry pansy flowers that I must do something with soon..I'm thinking I will be crafting something real soon with them.
You are so lucky Connie - I love pansies. I remember we had them as volunteers when I was a kid and they would cross-pollinate and we got some really cool color combinations!! Amy Grace
