Retirement! I need more time to do all the projects I want to do and all the projects I know I'll come up with between now and then. Only 20 more years to go!

I look forward to so many things. I am so lucky because my grandkids live very near and I see them most everyday. I love getting together with my girlfriends, we have so much fun. I look forward to traveling with my husband, we are going to Vermont and the Adirondacks in September. I look forward to all the different parties we have coming up. I always look forward to any time my daughter and I spend together, we are two peas in a pod and can really have some fun. I really look forward to having all the rugs and floors down in the house. Quiet time in the garden too. I could go on and on. I just love life and adventures.

Right now I enjoy watching DD have new adventures as she is growing up. But, in the back of my mind I am looking forward to sending her off to college and spending time rediscovering all the things I enjoy, along with some new interests and adventures.

Leah, I had to smile at your saying looking forward 1 o'clock when Phillip goes down for a nap. That was when I put my kids and grandkids down for a nap too,and I sure looked forward to that too!

Wow, this is a good one. At the top of my list would have to be spending time with my children. Now that they are both grown and living in other states, we don't get to spend as much time together anymore. My daughter is coming for a short visit next week!!!! Yeah!!! But I don't know when my son will be able to take leave, right now they are saying perhaps in October. I hope...

But life does move right along, so inbetween their visits, I continue to dream and plan and hope and work towards having my farm.

You can take the farmer's daughter off the farm but you can't take the farm out of the farmer's daughter!!

Time with my dh. He is a workaholic..I really have to press him for time off. For ex. yesturday he woke up at 930 am, went to town to help fix a broken water main, came back at 200pm, changed his clothes and went to his "real" job and came home at 1230am. we spent one hour talking at the picnic table before he went to bed. He has always been this way. He would be this way no matter what I think. UUUGGHH!I cant complain though, better then that then a man who wont work.

being at home on my farm, sitting with my sweet hubbie and watching our cows play in the laundry, or the chickens pecking or the dogs wrestling and goofing off with each other in the pond.

from the hearts of paradise...
