OH WHAT FUN I HAD TODAY! (took lots of pictures .. will post them tomorrow when i return from louisville .. going to the Mellwood Arts Center with our Green County Arts Council .. we're going to have an ARTS CENTER right in our town too!!)
met Luna at Kathy's wonderful home .. had lunch and sat and talked about some fun 'CABIN SALES' coming up soon at Kathy Sugarbuckets log cabin and beautiful farm house! Luna will be doing some spinning demonstrations . i'll be showin' how to make dolls .. and TONS of antiques will be for sale! (i'll post all the particulars on this too in case you are close enough to join us!)
then we ambled over to Luna's incredible Farmhouse and Sheep Farm .. oh what fun they are! And Alan made us the most deeeeeeeeelicious italian dish for dinner! Luna showed us her home and her studio and how she cards her wool. What a wonderful set-up she has!
THEN .. we all piled in my car and went to the movies .. to see .. OF COURSE ... MAMA MIA ... (my THIRD time to see it .. HA! i even saw it LAST night with a buncha' Kentucky gurlfrenz!) AND i would go back AGAIN in a heartbeat.
OH MY! jus' wait t'il you see the fabulous SCHOOL DESK i got from Luna for my SchoolHouse porch! AND .. be still my heart .. the antique 'wash tub' i got from Kathy's log cabin!!! i'm gonna' put it on our back porch near my antique clothes line (gotta' put that one up real soon!)
HA! wasn't i 'downsizing'? (actually, i have a HUGE pile of things to go to my antiques shoppe .. soooo .. i have plenty of room for these two new wonderous pieces!)
Luna, Kathy and I also planned our GURLFRENZ GATHERING for October. i'll tell ya'll all about it tomorrow .. gotta' hit the bed now .. those gurlz will be knocking on my door at 8 a.m. CENTRAL time tomorrow!!!
Frannie, I cant wait to see pictures and hear details! I hope you have a wonderful day in the "city". Will soon have to make a trip over to Glovers Station and ck out your booth. I want first dibs on your discarded treasures. ha

Looking forward to the pictures. Wish I had more girls to play with that had my interests. My SIL and I had great fun, but alas she has gone back to SC. Trying to talk them into moving up here.
KATHY ANTHONY (SUGARBUCKET)'s beautiful farm house .. and it is decorated so wonderfully and primitive inside! KATHY gets absolutely the BEST early primitive antiques in the state of KENTUCKY!
(and if you come to one of our 'gatherings' .. you'll get to see it!)
kathy makes these adorable cement 'bee skeeps' .. i got TWO of them for two of my 'bee-skeep' HOUSES (yes! kathy made the bee skeep house TOO!)
AND .. she is building this little 'barn structure too!) it will be finished in a few days .. when i go there next Saturday for her big SALE .. i'll take pics! xo
