Hi Karen-
"coopetition" which is combining the words cooperation with competition. It means that we help each other even when we may be involved in similar things. It is an amazing philosophy and people who really decide to follow this look at the whole instead of their own little slice of the pie. If I, as a soap, doll, and spa set maker only wanted to grab business for myself- I might be successful, but but I might not. So if I am a soap maker and someone is buying my soap but then asks for a fragrance that I don't carry- through coopetition, I can refer this person to someone who already makes that fragrance.
