I sent an online request to the editor at the Mansfield News Journal in Mansfield, Ohio. Hope they'll take me up on my request!

Tennessee:

Memphis
Nashville
Chattanooga
Knoxville
The smokey mountain group of mountain towns.

Alabama:

Mobile
Montgomery
Birmingham

Mississippi:

Gulf Coast towns (Ocean Springs, Biloxi, Gulfport, Long Beach, Pass Christian and Waveland)
Hattiesburg
Jackson
Desoto County paper

The heart of the south has alot of farmgirls in it, ya know?

Requested that the Athens Banner Herald in Athens, GA carry to column... now I have got my fingers crossed. (If another paper has it on-line, I would love to hear about it.)

“MaryJane’s Everyday Organic" is a wonderful idea.

I'll contact a couple of newspapers in my home state of Kansas (Topeka Capital Journal, Hutchinson News, Kansas City Star and Wichita Herald) and new home of Massachusetts (Boston Globe, Worcester Telegram and publications in the Blackstone Valley area.)

The information will be sent to a friend in New Hampshire who may be able to pass the word, too.

I can contact the Reno Gazette Journal. I have an extra copy of the spring/summer issue (my sub copy of the new one has not arrived yet) and can make an appt to show them the books, magazines, etc.

MJ,
I will contact someone at the Ogden Standard Examiner tomorrow, how can they possibly turn down a column written by a once local gal?

Hi MaryJane,
I dropped off a letter at the Press Tribune requesting they pick up the column, but I haven't heard back from anyone yet. The lady I talked to said she was giving the letter to the "news desk". I didn't get any names, she said everyone was "out" when I stopped by.

Has anyone contacted The Idaho Statesman yet?

You can take the farmer's daughter off the farm but you can't take the farm out of the farmer's daughter!!
