peeking inside my tiny little 'laundry room' .. this room is totally EMPTY right now (except for the washer/dryer) .. and kathy is painting it as i type! going to do this one PRIM first before the guest 'necessary' .. lots of the things you see in the beginning pile pictures .. are treasures from this room. all children and doll dainties.
yard decorating during one of my little girls TEA PARTIES . .i adore this CLOTH angel made by Cat Mahone who came to my dolly club in maryland to teach us how to make her!
this is my first grand-daughter, "jennie catherine angel fairie with silver shoes and golden wings" ..
i made the little blue gingham pinafore for her .. and still have it! also made her life-size dolly (still have it too .. along with about 20 hand-made outfits and accessories). JC and i used to love to go to flea markets to find purses and shoes and socks and ribbons for her dolly!
she is now 21 years old and has made me a 'great grammie'!! xo
it is usually MEN who go running into the woods. i find that most of my friends are 'kindred souls' and adore being surrounded by their treasures. my sister is just the opposite .. she loves VERY LITTLE on her walls and tabletops .. and that is o.k. too .. but now .. THAT makes me NERVOUS and wanna' run out to shoppe for her!
beautiful 'izannah walker' type dolls made by friend Shari Lutz .. she is MEGA-TALENTED!! and has taught doll-making quite a few times at my Crooked Tree Hollow Doll Club.
oh joy .. put your gas mask on and come help me DUST those treasures!
i'm excited .. cuz' kathy and son are whipping right along with the painting. they say they will be through by the end of the day!
HA! then i'm gonna' HAF'TA get bizzy decorating again! let's see .. little over a week left of july .. all of august ... but we have some birthday 'trips' to do during august .. september .. more birthday trips .. OCTOBER .. i'm thinkin' OCTOBER will be a good time for our gathering .. oh .. early October is out cuz' i want to take daughter, kristen somewhere fun for her birthday!
we will gather before the snow falls!

oh yeah! i dug in the pile and came up with a 'few' things to take to glovers station (antiques mall). all of these are 'reproduction folk-art primitives' ... (oh i do have a duplicate of the 'always kiss me goodnight' stitchery though!

i'm not excited about boxing up and mailing stuff right now with all i have to do .. sooo .. the treasures (mostly) that i'm showing are jus' show and tell .. UNLESS you come visit and pick it up!!
