So, on Friday I went to a thrift on my lunch, and then on Saturday, Mom and I went down to Shirley's shop again (where I got my little high chair and oh-so-cool cow crock!)...

Some pretty sweet little finds, I think:

Here's the group--sorry about the light/color, I am in back of the sun... and it's too darn hot to get out in it today.

My Green and White Savoryware Coffee pot from Shirley's.

This little basket came from the thrift...it appears to be handmade, but who knows? My other tiny handmade one, Rose, our shepherd, ate. Inside, though, are these awesome little wooden dominoes with the reverse side, an American Flag. I got the dominoes from Shirley, and put them in the basket. I don't know the first thing about dominoes, so I don't know how many are there or missing, but I'm not going to play, just decorate.

This is a new, handmade pitcher, made to look like the saltglazed items that originated in Germany. I really want one of the REAL ones, but this was at the thrift for $2.00 and SOMEONE took the time to make it look good, so I bought it :) One day, when I can afford it, I'll have the REAL thing!!!

JONNI,
What a lot of nice things. I would have bought everything you did. Can't go together, or we would be in trouble.

I know, Nancy jo! It would be like when I used to go clothes shopping with my girlfriends in 7th grade and we'd all get into a spat because we wanted the same shirt!!!

Miss Wilma, there are 13 stars--top row 4, middle row 5, bottom row 4.

Oh...such cool stuff Jonni! None of us could go "junkin" together (as my daughter and I call it). She and I can shop together only because whatever she doesn't get now she knows she'll get when I kick the bucket! LOL! In fact I think she finds stuff for me to buy and encourages me for that very reason! LOL! Just kiddin' she's an awesome daughter and doesn't have a selfish bone in her body....we have a ball when we go shopping together. I feel great knowing you all have the same great taste in junk that I do!!!! Ha! Ha!

Love that coffee pot, and the blue pottery looks great, the dominos are also too sweet. Yup, you too are a dangerous woman. I joke with Nancy jo that she unleashed the sleeping yard sale?thrift beast in me, but you are an inspiration as well....
