Hello from Idaho. I picked up up a MaryJane Magazine from the store and it was just what I needed. I was wondering how to get in touch with other gals and see what their day and life was doing.I have yet to recieve my farm girl # but will wait and peek in on what every one is doing until then. I love to sew and quilt and cook and garden and all that is the farm girl life. I really look foward to getting to know all of you.

Thanks I lived in Dallas for about 3 years so I know a little about what to do in Texas. I really liked it and still have some family down there.
Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome from south central Kentucky. I like to do the same things as you except COOK.
I have been getting things from my garden already--cucumbers for pickles, beets for pickles, green beans to can, tomatoes-just to eat, cabbage (so good fried or grilled), onions, radishes, and now corn. I am planning on harvesting it tomorrow. Will freeze all of it. Gardening is hard work--but OH it is so good in the winter months. Hope to hear more from you.
